The Tropf Blumat Small Box Kit with 5-Gallon Reservoir comes with everything you need to automatically water up to 6 potted plants or a 2.5 square meter garden. An included 5 gallon water reservoir allows for an electricity-free, gravity-fed automatic plant watering system. Want to save yourself the hassle and time of watering plants, while watching them thrive over time? Then this kit is ideal for you, easy to setup and comes with everything you need. The reservoir is already drilled and fitted with an adapter to hook up to your Tropf Blumat system. Just add water and you are ready to go!

This Kit Includes:

• 7 meters (23 feet) of 8mm tubing
• 1 tee splitter
• 1 elbow splitter
• 1 hose coupler
• 1 hose end-piece
• 1 5-gallon bucket and lid
• 2 rain barrel/gravity tank connectors (installed)

Perfect for landscapers and home gardeners. It is easily installed with a pair of scissors and connects directly to your reservoir. This kit includes six 5” carrots and all parts required for a gravity-fed system. Reservoirs should be at least 3' above ground-level.

This Deck and Planter Kit is a great way to start your customized irrigation system. The flexible system can be expanded to include up to 500 drippers.

How it works

The Tropf Blumat self-watering system functions automatically. As the soil dries, a vacuum and hydro-static pressure, coupled with a spring-loaded gating mechanism, pulls water from the main line. When the soil is sufficiently moist, pressures equalize, and the Tropf Blumat automatically stops taking in water.

Each Tropf Blumat Outdoor Sensor in the Deck and Planter Set covers an area 12 inches in diameter. To expand and customize your own system, add additional Supply Hoses, Outdoor Sensors, and Distributor Drippers.

Please Note

This system does not include a Pressure Reducer. You will need this if you are connecting your system to a threaded spigot, such as your hose/home water supply or the spigot on a rain barrel or reservoir.

Tropf Blumat Austria says "Please don't use the Tropf Blumat indoors" because if hooked up to a constant water source and a pet, guest, or user-error somehow causes a run-away, it could damage your home. We, and many others, do in fact use these systems inside ourselves, however, we are generally around enough that if a problem did occur, we would be able to notice a problem and fix it in time (not the case if someone is on vacation).
