Down to Earth Granular Humic Acids is an all-natural mix of 50 percent human acids derived from leonardite and 50 percent inert material. Derived from ancient decomposed plant material, it contains a high level of carbon, which provides an ongoing food source for a robust microbial soil ecosystem.
Soils containing humic acids help to chelate nutrients, which increases the capacity of plant roots to uptake micronutrients. Down to Earth's Humic Acids have been crushed, screened, and graded into a coarse granular size.
