Grower's Choice has just dropped some awesome UV light bars. When combined with the ROI-E720's full spectrum, these supplemental light bars help increase overall growth and resin production in plants! The UVR Supplemental LEDs fit directly into the chassis and plugs into the ROI-E720 LED allowing for ease of installation and enhanced lighting. This also fits the ROI-E900 as well!
-
Advanced UV Light Delivers Better Yield: UVA and near-ultraviolet light (365-385nm) are very beneficial for plant development. Scientifically proven to increase resin production in plants.
-
UV-B light increases the net plant photosynthesis in several plant species. Higher production of flavonoids can be induced under both UV-B and high PAR in young and old plant leaves. UV-A radiation has a positive effect on photosynthesis especially when plants are exposed to UV-B.
- Adding far-red to the light spectrum can increase leaf size, enabling plants to capture more light and increase growth.
-
Easy Set-Up: These fixtures come with everything you need to attach to your ROI-E720 with a quick clip-in installation.
- UVR light bars come with a 1 year warranty.
Note: ROI-E720 not included, this listing is for 2x UVR Light bars.

How to Use UV-R Bars from Grower's Choice:
The UVR bar does cause various levels of plant stress so we try to refrain from telling people how to use this light as there are so many various factors in each garden that will affect the outcome. The UVR bars used sparingly during veg can strengthen plants (through low levels of UV stress), UV light can used properly can help reduce pests and pathogens.
This fixture has multiple applications, from running it at various powers, heights, and times throughout the cultivation. Some cultivators like to use the UVR bar from start to finish. The UVR bars used sparingly during veg can strengthen plants (through low levels of UV stress) and help reduce pests and pathogens. At 25% or 50% for a short time period (1 or 2 hours)
Other cultivators use UVR during flowering and some only during the end of flowering, specifically the last 2 weeks at full power to induce maximum stress levels that can cause the plant to increase resin production as a defense/reproduction measure. The addition of UVR light can be used to alter basic characteristics during flowering, such as flower appearance, smell, and resin. The fixture is 10 watts of UVA, UVB and far red light.
There are two power levels, 50% and 100%. Cultivators new to UVR fixtures should use them sparingly at low levels until the plants and cultivators become acclimated to the new light. UVR is very much a learning experience for new growers. It's one of those things that you, as a cultivator, have to figure out what is best for your specific applications.
